G-ANX - Flashbacks
Well this is a little gem which got me through a lot of times growing up! I just rediscovered it and it hasn't left my player since!!
blistering crust punk with the element of thundering beats. Something about the melodic intros and breaks that are reminiscent of just that...flash backs to the good and the bad.
enjoy!

ASPHYX - CRUSH THE CENOTAPH
i got this cassette in 01 at a used record store, and since then this band has always piqued my interest when I hear their name. Original singer Van Drunen was totally amazing, the guy after he left was ok, but now van drunen is back on the 2009 release "Death...the brutal way" heres a chance to get acquainted with their older material. these guys were some of the pioneers of true doomy death metal in the 90's. Martin van Drunen's vocals are what make it all the worthwhile.

Nuclëar Fröst - 5 trax 80's promo
Oh Nuclëar Fröst were a sick 80's anarcho crust/thrash band from Brazil.
Some really great stuff here, if you can get past the Umlauts. All the songs are under 1.5 minutes of thrash greatness. I cant find any info for this release online. But rest assured if you are into low budget basement thrash recordings you are in for a real treat here!

Thorns - Grymyrk
Most people have the s/t thorns full length, but less have this demo which came out in '91
MUCH much less produced than the debut album, it is very raw, and depessive, not blasty. Also, there are no vocals

POWER OF ZEUS - THE GOSPEL ACCORDING TO ZEUS
Power of Zeus was a 70's outfit...this album was released on Motown label Rare Earth
I bout this record on a reccomendation from the dude at Atlas records outside Pittsburgh. I was very suprised at how catchy these songs were. If you are into Possessed (70's rock band not DM band), Spooky Tooth, Iron Butterfly, King Crimson etc....be sure to check these guys out

SKULLFLOWER IIIrd GATEKEEPER
A great one from the mighty Skullflower
Grating, dragged through ice and spit back out to face the fires of hell
a psychotic journey through the depths of a hallucinating rabbit

KHAR KHORUM - KHAR KHORUM
well what do we have here?
Khar Khorum are a group from mongolia, playing traditional instruments and singing styles. A lot of throat singing and interesting melodies here. The sound is sweeping like the steppes of mongolia, undulating and broad. This is definitly one of my all time favorites to listen to!

If you like mongolian movie, I suggest you check out Tuya's Marriage

Nemesis - The Day of Retribution
This is a MUST HAVE for any fan of candlemass, or doom in general
released in 84, Nemesis is Leif Edlings pre-Candlemass doom band. Needless to say its not "doom" in the modern sense (think electric wizard, sleep, etc) but in its true sense before it hit the mainstream pot smokers anonymous. Ive loved this album since I was a Freshman in Highschool in 98 and I scored it on the used rack at the local record store...still a favorite of mine!
Edling's vocals are haunting and imperfect, but some of the riffing is just so memorable. I always imagined this being recorded in a mildewey basement with torches lit and like dungeon cages hanging around see for yourself

NM
well, what do we have here? The reason this is a mystery post is that this band, hailing from the Ukraine, and sharing members on each of their albums with some of the greatest black metal bands of our time has not officially released this I guess, and it can not be found elsewhere. therefore, I will exclusively post it for you.
well if you figured out which band this is then you will be very happy to download this

Extinguishing the Human Race
An - World Minus Population
this album is fucking awesome. Suicidal in its instrumentation, the music is pretty straightforward and not too technical, and the vocals seems to trade off with deep growls and high pitched black meal gurgles. This band definitly does not like the human race with song titles like "let there be ebola frost" a good enough listen for sure! 8/10
